Since 1977, the Danish company Isager has been supplying pattern and quality yarns, made from natural fibre, both known and loved by
"It can be difficult for our suppliers to document animal welfare, because the wool comes from different livestocks. But our wool suppliers experience, just like we do, an increasing interest in traceability, quality and not least animal welfare. Together they are working on an ethical standards mark which docuemtns that the wool, from sheep to end product, lives up to the gigh demands of quality for wich we have always been advocates. We hope to be able to mark this on all our yarns soon. "
Isager Alpaca1 is an ultra thin, two ply yarn made from 100% Alpaca sourced and spun in Peru. The yarn can both be used individually, especially for scarves, but it's mainly knit together with a strand of Spinni1 or Silk Mohair. Any yarn will benefit from being knitted together with Alpaca1. It can also add unity and bind colours together in a work where many colours are used.
Spinni is a single yarn, spun in a single direction, that is often used in multicoloured work. It adds a nice characteristic structure to any knitted fabric.
Silk Mohair is spun in Italy.
