Pom Pom Quarterly was founded in 2012 as a quarterly that presents knitting, crochet, and craft in the modern, beautiful, and meaningful way we’ve always known it should be.

Pom Pom Issue 42 - Summer 22 - pre-order

Pom Pom is turning 10 and you’re invited to our yarn party!

Issue 41 marks our 10th birthday and we have a host of jubilant and celebratory designs which radiate all the joy we feel on this landmark occasion! This rare bumper edition of Pom Pom Quarterly contains 13 designs for warm and cool climes, so no matter where you live in the world, there’s handmade party outfits aplenty within its pages.

This is our most collectable edition yet! Not only is this unique issue split into warm and cool patterns, we’ve gone all out with a flip double cover. This is also the first issue printed in our new larger format! Expect lush photographic spreads and more room for patterns – something you’ve told us we could work on! We’ve also permanently increased our page count to bring you even more Pom Pom! Over the last decade(!), we’ve had the absolute honour of working with some of the most creative and inspirational people in the fibre world, and we invited a handful of them to contribute to this extraordinary summer collection!

Pom Pom Issue 40 - Spring 22

For our 40th issue we’ve concocted a knitted dreamworld! Allow our latest collection to transport you to your yarn-filled happy place with joy-bringing patterns which are whimsical without compromising elegance or wearability. The designs reference the seemingly unstructured nature of dreams through floaty fabrics and ethereal embellishments, loose gauge, and by gently emboldening the maker to use their intuition when it comes to playing with colour. As with anything that appears effortless, copious amounts of imagination and clever thinking form the foundation of these designs and they encourage the kind of creative escapism we cherish in crafting. The patterns in this collection vary in intensity; from ones which will allow you to realise your knitting fantasies to others you could finish with your eyes closed. But rest assured, each one will grant you gratification in a different way.

Pom Pom Issue 33 - The Summer Issue

The theme for our summer issue is the sun - as we'e moved through the classic elements of water, earth, aid air for our quarterly inspiration we next looked to fire, by way of this life giving star. The designers have embodied its energetic colours and radiance as their inspiration, creating pieces for this season to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.

This issue has two covers, we just couldn’t decide on one this quarter! But don’t sweat, no matter which cover you receive, exactly the same wonderful content is inside.
